Smoke free for a whole week!

Well today is day #7. Yay me!!! Although I have to say that I came *this* close to caving today, and thankfully Steph talked me out of it. I kept myself rather busy this weekend to prevent caving in. Friday during my lunch hour I went at Michael's to spend my gift certificate that Steph gave me for Christmas. It was burning a hole in my purse. Walking into Michael's is like walking in a time warp zone. I thought I was inside for 15 minutes and turns out it was 1h10. Oops. Michael's is like heaven to me hehe. I wasn't sure what to get with my g/c, some beading stuff, scrapbooking stuff, soapmaking, or painting? I finally saw a "Learn to Knit" book/kit, and it looked well illustrated and easy to learn, so I got that, with some yarn. The kit came with yarn, but only one color. It also told me which kind of yarn to buy. On my way back to the office I stopped at Rinzzlers to pick up my meat for the week. (Put it in the fridge at work hehe). I left early and went to do groceries, gas up, got DH, came home, took the Christmas tree outside, and rearranged the living room, cleaned the kitchen, made supper and backed up my computer.

Saturday I cleaned a little and taught myself how to knit with that kit thingy. I suck so bad at following instructions! Steph had to look at the book, take the needles and actually show me twice a part that I didn't understand hehe (a part in purling, and a part in casting off.) Today I finally cleaned my gym! It looks awesome. I did all of the laundry, vacuumed the whole house, and even washed bedding. I have NO Idea where all this energy is coming from. Is it the quitting smoking ? The quitting eating junk ? Oh and I actually exercised today! Wow i'm rusty. Wow. I found the WATP 1 mile really hard. :-s
