HOLY SH!!!!T !!

I never really quite understood the purpose of the "Panic" button on the car's remote key thingy, but I sure feel like pressing it now because I'm in panic mode.

I just received an email that they're starting to organize our 2007 High School reunion! *hyperventilates*. OMG! Ten years ? Already ?

I can't see myself going really. But how can I not go and miss out on seing all the people I haven't seen in 10 years ? But how can I go there, fatter than ever, admitting to everyone that I'm a freakin' secretary? I'm so ashamed to admit that, moreso to people that 'knew' me. I'm bound to have to answer the "So what do you do?" question a million times if I go. Is it worth making myself sick for a year thinking about this stinking reunion ? Yes there are things that I'm proud of, like my home, my dog, the other things about me besides the job I hold... but people will be passing around pictures of their kids, I can't possibly pass around pictures of my house and a resume of my interresting hobbies....

Did you go to your reunion ? Are you planning to go ? Were/Are you nervous ?

*Hyperventilates*

Mine was last year and I didn't go. And for some of the same reasons as you.

I not going to bother to go to my reunion either, mostly because I still talk to and see whoever I care about anyway.
And, come to think of it, I'm not sure we're even HAVING a reunion, but it would be this year sometime and I haven't heard anything. I guess that's one of the perks of living so far away.
Anyhow, if its going to stress you out so much, I don't think it is worth it. Besides...didn't we all spend 4 years DYING to get OUT of high school anyway? LOL!

Dear, forgive me if I laugh a smidge. LOL. I had my 10 year *last* year. Meaning, 2 years before yours. I can guarantee you that neither I nor you are ancient. Some people really are against reunions. To be honest, I did go to mine, and I had a great time - aside from dealing with the nasty guy my high school best friend is now marrying. He followed J around all night, and J finally gave up and left early so he could hide. Really, this guy is THAT BAD. LOL.
I wasn't nervous at all. I was just curious about everyone. Some people changed a lot, but most looked the same, but better. Less awkward teenager, ya know? And it doesn't hurt that I look way better now than then, either. Couldn't wait for the "HA! I'm cool NOW!" thing.

Mine was in 03. I didn't attend. I wasn't friends with many of the people I went to high school with, and really had little to no interest in seeing them. And then - as fate would have it - I ended up having surgery the Thursday before the reunion - so going, even if I had wanted to, simply wasn't an option!

OY! she was planning next summer and I told her it was perfect! knowing perfectly well that 1. I would be pregnant or just post pardon and not wanting to go 3k miles 2. summer is most expensive to travel..

Then she found out I was pregnant! SO she scheduled it for 2-3 months after I have baby to make sure I would come.. EVEN ON MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!

OY I know there are people in my class who have done less then me, but I am not super looking forward to seeing everyone..

"hi everyone you all remember me. I am a SAHM to a 3 year old and a 3 month old. my life revolves around lack of housework and diapers.. I have a twice college drop out.. On a plus note I have done alot of traveling.. and that sums up my 10 years.. thank bye.."
