Premiere Week!!

It's Premiere Week!! Yay! Pretty sad that this is the highlight of my week huh? I'm so exited for the Heroes premiere tonight :) We had a pretty good weekend, although it was too short as always. Saturday we lounged around the house and I watched some HGTV and did spurts of cleaning. Sunday Tim & Sophie came over to watch some Weeds episodes and make-your-own fajitas & tacos night! Yum, it was good. Gained-2lbs-good. The burned DVD ended up not cooperating so we decided to keep the episodes for our next get together which we decided would be a sushi night. Yay!

I'm sad that Heather dropped out of the blogosphere and even cyberspace. I'm worried about her. Heather if you're reading, I hope you're okay.

Have you noticed the marykay banner on the side there ? <---------- Sorry about that, but if someone needs anything.. you know where to find me :)

I was trying to avoid doing a bullet style post, because I always feel like doing bullets when I haven't blogged in a while because my thoughts are all jumbled... but really this is a bullet post without the bullets. So I might as well just add the bullets. Why did I need to tell you about my bullet dilemma this morning? I have no idea. I told you my thoughts were jumbled.

Saturday I was looking at Katie's New York City vacation pictures, it made me want to go back sooo bad. Then I found 2 Sex and the City episodes on TBS. Then I drove Stephane absolutely nuts with NYC. Sunday I wore my I (heart) NYC t-shirt. I said that I want to either move there or visit it twice a year. I don't know what's with my infatuation with NYC. I'm in love with NYC. I love how there's always a TON of stuff going on at any point in time. I love their accents. I love the smell. I do, it kinda smells like Africa. (Although other people that were on our bus thought NYC stinks LOL) I love crossing the street with a mob of people. I LOVE the amazing architecture everywhere. I love the history. Okay okay I'll stop. I need a 12 step program or something.

I've got a knot in my back between my shoulder blades this morning. Ow. I wish I could afford to go see a massage therapist. Ah well. Hopefully I'll win the lotto wednesday night...

I am super excited about the premieres this week too...you are not alone.
I'm worried about Heather too, I hope she's ok.
And you sure do know how to make a girl homesick with your NYC talk. Three more months and I get to go back. AHHH!!!

Yes! Totally excited for premiere week myself. Greys! Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives and more!! YAY! Um. Even though I have like NO time to watch any of these shows.

I know exactly how you feel about NYC! I am the exact same way. No one understands. No! ONE! I get it. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could.

I noticed your Mary Kay banner! I wasn't going to say anything but, in case you're using it somewhere else..."Independent" is misspelled. {blush}

I should have double checked, now I'm kicking myself!

I totally understand about NYC, I have the same thing with London and, to a degree, Dublin. No idea why but I could go there a number of times a year. Even though every time we've been there so far, I always end up complaining about how expensive everything is. Now Dublin is as expensive as London, with the Euro being so high... bummer...
I've been wondering about Heather, too, especially since I can't even log into her blog anymore. But she just appeared on facebook not that long ago...

I'm excited about the new shows, too! Brothers & Sisters premiered last nite - I tivoed it because 10 is too late for me!

I feel that exact same way about Aspen. I understand! I haven't been to Colorado since May of 2006. I told my friend I'm "Colorado-sick" - much like one gets homesick. The way Aspen smells, the people, the trees, the old architecture, the mountains. Sigh. It's my home. Even though I don't live there!

Mindy, if you ever come to CO, we should meet! ;)

I've never been to NYC but I could easily revisit London again soon. It just felt "right".

It's not sad, premier week is the highlight of my week too (although I probably won't watch half the stuff until next week-thank you DVR).

I'm worried about Heather too :(

And if you want to come to Detroit, I'll totally give you a free massage :)

I don't think I could do NYC because I'd totally want to stay. I love the fast paced, trendy thoughts of NYC. Ugh, I'm so jealous of you guys!

Nancy - I was SO MAD when I went to watch Brothers & Sisters last night (I tivoed it) and it was a stupid show recap!!!! ARGH! I've seen every single episode! I don't NEED a recap!

Hope you are enjoying premier week!

So what did you think of the Heroes premier? I had a hard time following, because I couldn't really remember where it left off at the end of last season. Should have probably watched last season's finale again.

So I have a question about this week's Heroes. After she cuts her toe off and the kid from school sees her through the window, our Tivo cut off! Did anything happen after that?

And my women's group is call the Junior Women's Club. It's basically just a group of women who get together and volunteer, do social stuff, etc. Sort of like a college sorority for grown-ups.
