I Heart Long Weekends...

...So it feels like it's Sunday night, but it's not. WOOHOO! I love long weekends. So much so that I have decided, and actually DID, wake up early for the past 2 days to make the most of this long weekend! I'm so proud of myself! I'm also proud of myself for going to the market this morning and buying all kinds of grass fed organic meat, for keeping the house relatively clean so far, and most of all I'm proud that this is the first year in my life that I don't loose my poppy. (Do americans wear poppies on Rememberance Day ? Do they have such a holiday? Is it a satutory holiday? How many bloggers do you know ask so much of their readers?)

I should have followed my original plan to go to the farmers market at 7am. It was already uncomfortably crowded at 8h30am. I bought a family pack from The Bunnet Farm, 8 skinless boneless chicken breasts, and a pork pack from The Springbrook Farm, some Thai food, rhum balls, multigrain bread and date squares from Nick the Dutch Baker, strawberry wine from The Magnetic Hill Winery, a dog treat from some dog gourmet treats place, and shnitzels and honey garlic sausages from Degenhart's.

It's great that I still have a whole weekend day. I'm going for breakfast at Cora's , then we're goign to see a french (Quebec) film : Les Voleurs d'Enfance. Then I should pick up some vegetables and throw away the tub of frozen heaven aka Nestle After Eight ice cream. You might notice my linky urges tonight. I don't know why. Maybe I feel the need to keep my readers informed. Don't you feel special ? Maybe I just feel guilty because I haven't blogged in 2 days and I don't want to lose all of my 3 fans.

Dh and I are currently extreme vegging. We just finished watching Saw, and now we're watching some musical entitled Camp. Quite the change of mood. I think I'll go make some beef and mozzarella subs :) Talk later :)
