It belonged to my great-grandfather, who decided one day to up and leave his wife and kids and try his fortune in Canada. Great-grandma ended up having to work in the factory to make ends meet, and then a few years later he showed up again with not a penny to his name, and she took him back in. I guess a loser husband is still better than having to work in the factory yourself :-)<br />Anyhow, the trunk is now in my living room and I store blankets for the couch in the bottom compartment, and all my wrapping paper in the tray :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8567334.post-51450008630474753862006-10-17T23:33:00.000-03:002006-10-17T23:33:00.000-03:00ah cool, sound like it came from the trapistine's ...ah cool, sound like it came from the trapistine's yard sale they had earlier this year, around the time i was moving i guess... i wish i would've known about that yard sale, aparently they had spinning wheels for sale too! maybe one day i'll drive up there and ask if they still have any left that didnt' sell heheAnygmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06341368942569684512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8567334.post-25648925509177511912006-10-17T15:27:00.000-03:002006-10-17T15:27:00.000-03:00Ooooh I love stuff like that! If you decide you do want to use it for blankets, etc., you have have a carpenter line it with cedar so your linens will stay fresh and clean!Hobby Chefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06443758586679970990noreply@blogger.com
